IAA Transportation 2026 — Hannover, 15–20 September
The flagship. IAA Transportation returns to the Deutsche Messe fairgrounds in Hannover from 15 to 20 September 2026, with a press day on 14 September. It is the world’s largest gathering for commercial vehicles, transport and logistics — truck and bus manufacturers, trailer and body builders, component suppliers, charging and infrastructure players, and a growing start-up quarter all under one (very large) roof.
Expect electrification and megawatt charging to dominate the halls again, alongside autonomy pilots and the software-defined vehicle theme that has been building since the last edition. If you attend one commercial vehicle event in 2026, this is it.
Looking ahead to 2027
- Busworld Europe — Brussels. The world’s leading bus and coach exhibition runs on a two-year rhythm; the next European edition is expected in autumn 2027, dates to be confirmed by the organiser.
- Solutrans — Lyon. France’s biennial commercial vehicle show, traditionally held in November of odd years, with a strong bodybuilder and urban logistics focus. Next edition expected late 2027.
