Isuzu N-series

The N-series is the range of Isuzu trucks that Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. presents for Türkiye on isuzu.com.tr. Its brochure, headed “N Serisi Kamyon” (N-series truck), gives technical tables for five versions: the NPR and NPR Long at 7,500 kg gross vehicle weight, the NPR 10 and NPR 10 Long at 9,800 kg, and the three-axle NPR 3D at 12,500 kg. The site lists the same five names under its truck (kamyon) menu, and two lighter models, the NLR and NLR Long at 3,500 kg, under its light-truck (kamyonet) menu. This page is built from that brochure, whose PDF was created on 10 July 2026, and from the model pages of the NPR, NPR Long, NPR 10, NPR 3D, NLR and NLR Long, all read on 26 October 2026. Every figure is for the Turkish market. No Anadolu Isuzu document opened gives a production-start year or the earlier generations of the N-series.

Versions

The NPR and NPR Long share the Isuzu 4JZ1-TCS engine, hydraulic brakes and a gross vehicle weight of 7,500 kg; the Long version has a wheelbase of 3,815 mm against 3,365 mm. The NPR 10 and NPR 10 Long carry the Isuzu 4HK1-TCS engine and full-air brakes on the same two wheelbases, at 9,800 kg. The NPR 3D has the 4HK1-TCS engine and a third axle: its wheelbase is 3,385 mm, followed by 982 mm between the second and third axles, at 12,500 kg. Anadolu Isuzu’s NPR 3D page opens with “Üçüncü dingilin gücüyle maksimum taşıma, tam Isuzu dayanıklılığı” (maximum carrying with the power of the third axle, full Isuzu durability).

Cab

The brochure gives one cab width for all five versions, 2,040 mm (dimension G), and a seating capacity of “2 yolcu + 1 sürücü”: two passengers and the driver. Its icon strip shows a tilting cab (“Devrilebilir Kabin”) and labels the steering “Hidrolik, Teleskobik / Tilt” (hydraulic, telescopic and tilt). The NPR page describes a “yenilenmiş ferah ve geniş kabin”, a renewed, airy and wide cab. The NLR and NLR Long pages give a cab width of 1,815 mm.

Engines

Two Isuzu four-cylinder diesels power the five versions in the brochure, which describes both as “Commonrail Turbo Diesel Intercooler” and gives both the emission class “Euro VI (OBD-E)”; its cover carries a “euro 6E” logo. Its power and torque rows are headed “Maksimum Net Güç” and “Maksimum Net Tork” (maximum net power and torque).

The NPR, NPR Long, NPR 10 and NPR 3D pages give the same power, rated speed and displacement as the brochure, and the NPR Long page names “150 PS ve 375 Nm’lik Commonrail Turbo Dizel Intercooler motoru”. The NLR and NLR Long pages give 150 PS (110 kW) at 2,800 rpm and 2,999 cc without naming the engine. The Euro VI steps are set out in Euro 6 and Euro 7 explained.

Transmission and driveline

All five versions have a manual gearbox with six forward gears and one reverse (“Manuel, 6 ileri - 1 geri”); the NLR and NLR Long pages give a manual gearbox with five forward gears and one reverse. The clutch is given as “Ø300” on the NPR and NPR Long and as “Hidrolik kumandalı, Ø325” (hydraulically operated) on the NPR 10, NPR 10 Long and NPR 3D. The rear-axle reduction ratio (“Arka Dingil Tahvil Oranı”) is 5.571 on the NPR and NPR Long, 4.777 on the NPR 10 and NPR 10 Long and 5.125 on the NPR 3D. A side-mounted gearbox power take-off (“PTO Şanzıman - Yan”) and a heavy-duty clutch pressure plate and disc (“Ağır Görev Baskı ve Balata”) are both marked 0 on the NPR 10 and NPR 3D and with a dash on the NPR in the brochure’s equipment table.

Axles, suspension and brakes

The front axle capacity is 3,100 kg on the NPR and NPR Long and 3,400 kg on the NPR 10, NPR 10 Long and NPR 3D. The rear axle capacity is 5,800 kg on the NPR and NPR Long and 6,800 kg on the NPR 10 and NPR 10 Long; for the NPR 3D the brochure prints “6400+3400” kg. All five versions have mechanical leaf-spring suspension at the front, and the NPR, NPR Long, NPR 10 and NPR 10 Long the same at the rear; on the NPR 3D the brochure gives leaf-spring mechanical suspension on the second and third axles.

All five have disc brakes front and rear. On the NPR and NPR Long the system is hydraulic, with automatic brake-lining adjustment, ASR, ESC, AEBS and EBD. The NPR 10, NPR 10 Long and NPR 3D have a dual-circuit full-air system with automatic lining adjustment, ABS, ASR, ESC, AEBS and EBD and a load-dependent brake-pressure regulator (“Yüke göre basınç ayarlayan fren sistemi”); the NPR 3D page calls it “yüke göre otomatik fren ayarlama sistemi (LSV)”. The auxiliary brake on all five is an exhaust brake (“Egzoz Freni”), a type covered in retarders and engine braking explained. The parking brake on the NPR and NPR Long is an electrically operated drum brake acting at the gearbox output; on the NPR 10, NPR 10 Long and NPR 3D it is a spring brake acting on the rear wheels.

Dimensions and weights

The NPR 3D’s wheelbase is printed as “3385+982”, and a footnote gives the 982 mm as the distance between the second and third axles. The brochure’s footnote 2 states the kerb weights for standard vehicles with the driver (75 kg), all fluids full and the fuel tank 90% full, and adds that weights may vary with options. Footnote 3 states that the payload (“Taşıma Kapasitesi (İstiap Haddi)”) does not include the weighing tolerance allowed by Karayolları, the highways administration: “500 kg + GVW*0.0375 kg”. The brochure’s first page calls its weights nominal values for the base vehicle configuration. How gross and kerb weights relate is set out in truck weights and gross combination weight.

The model pages give the same usable chassis lengths, cab width, gross weights and payloads as the brochure for the NPR, NPR Long, NPR 10 and NPR 3D. The NLR page gives a usable chassis length of 3,665 mm, a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kg and a payload of 1,218 kg; the NLR Long page gives 4,410 mm, 3,500 kg and 1,176 kg.

Electrical system, tyres and tanks

The NPR and NPR Long carry batteries of “2x12V - 68Ah”, a 24 V 60 A alternator (1.44 kW) and a 24 V starter motor of 3.7 kW; the NPR 10, NPR 10 Long and NPR 3D carry “2x12V - 90Ah”, a 24 V 80 A alternator (1.92 kW) and a 24 V starter of 4 kW. Tyres are the same size front and rear: 215/75 R17.5 on the NPR, NPR Long and NPR 3D, and 225/75 R17.5 on the NPR 10 and NPR 10 Long. The fuel tank is 100 l on all five versions; the AdBlue tank is 14 l on the NPR and NPR Long and 16.5 l on the NPR 10, NPR 10 Long and NPR 3D.

Safety and driver-assistance systems

The brochure’s “GSR DONANIM” table marks thirteen rows S on the NPR, NPR 10 and NPR 3D alike: AEBS advanced emergency braking, LDWS lane-departure warning, ESC/ESP, BSIS blind-spot information with its own warning lamp, MOIS moving-off information, TPMS tyre-pressure monitoring, EBS, ESS emergency stop signal, ISA intelligent speed assistance (listed as software), CSS cyber security, AIF alcohol interlock installation facilitation and DDAW driver drowsiness and attention warning. These systems are set out in mandatory driver-assistance systems. Its general equipment table also marks a hill-start aid (“Yokuş Kalkış Destek Sistemi”) S on all three.

The model pages each list their own set under “Donanım & Güvenlik”. The NPR and NPR Long pages give BSIS, LDWS, DWS distance warning, TSR traffic-sign recognition, TPMS, ISA, AIF, DDAW and MOIS; the NPR 10 and NPR 3D pages give BSIS, LDWS, TPMS, ISA, AIF, DDAW and MOIS with a rear parking sensor; the NLR and NLR Long pages give LDWS, DWS, TSR, TPMS, ISA, AIF and DDAW. The brochure’s tables have no DWS, TSR or parking-sensor row.

Equipment and options

The brochure’s two “DONANIM” tables mark each item S, 0 or with a dash in three columns, NPR, NPR 10 and NPR 3D, and print no key to the marks; the NPR Long and NPR 10 Long have no columns of their own. Marked S in all three columns: ASR, a digital tachograph, a headlamp sensor, a manual cab tilt, front and rear fog lamps, daytime running lamps, electric windows, an immobiliser, hydraulic steering, a front towing hook, remote central locking, a hill-start aid, a USB charging socket, seat belts and an adjustable driver’s seat. Electric heated mirrors, multimedia and a lockable fuel-filler cap are marked S on the NPR and with a dash on the other two; a Bluetooth radio and an outside temperature sensor are marked S on the NPR 10 and NPR 3D and with a dash on the NPR. A rear-view camera is marked S on the NPR and 0 on the NPR 10 and NPR 3D.

Marked 0 in all three columns: air conditioning (“Klima”), a tipper preparation (“Damper Altyapısı”), a platform vehicle (“Platformlu Araç”) and a refuse-truck preparation to TS EN 1501-1:2011 (“Çöp Kamyonu Altyapısı”), which a footnote limits to the short NPR; refuse bodies are covered in refuse collection vehicles. An ADR package (FL, AT, EXII, EXIII) is marked 0 on the NPR 10 and NPR 3D and with a dash on the NPR. An ice-cream truck body (“Dondurma Kamyonu Üst Yapısı”) is marked 0 on the NPR, with a footnote limiting it to the NPR Long. The NPR, NPR Long, NLR and NLR Long pages also list a 6.2-inch multimedia unit, a 7-inch instrument display and a rear-view camera.
