Isuzu Citiport

The Citiport is the city bus range that Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. sells in Türkiye under the Isuzu name. Anadolu Isuzu’s Turkish site lists four Citiport models: Citiport 18 CNG, Citiport 18, Citiport 12 CNG and Citiport 12. The figures on this page come from Anadolu Isuzu’s own documents: the Turkish data sheets of the Citiport 18 (PDF created 20 July 2026), the Citiport 18 CNG (PDF created 16 July 2026) and the Citiport 12 CNG (PDF created 24 July 2026), and the four Turkish model pages, which carry no publication date and were read on 27 October 2026. The overview gives the Citiport 18, the 18-metre diesel; the table under it gives each data sheet’s wheelbases and maximum laden weight. Range and maker’s description

The cover of each data sheet carries the line “Anadolu Isuzu; Isuzu’nun Asya kıtası dışında bulunan tüm tesislerinde, IMM sertifikasına sahip tek fabrikasıdır”: Anadolu Isuzu describes its plant as the only factory among all of Isuzu’s facilities outside the Asian continent that holds IMM certification.

The model pages of the Citiport 18 and the Citiport 18 CNG each call their bus the largest member of the Citiport family (“Citiport ailesinin en büyük üyesi”) and present it for busy routes and for metrobüs operators (“metrobüs işletmecileri”). The Citiport 12 CNG page describes a public transport vehicle “12 metre segmentindeki” (in the 12-metre segment) with an “engelsiz ulaşım konsepti”, a barrier-free transport concept. No document opened gives the year the Citiport was introduced or describes an earlier version.

Dimensions and weights

The weight row is headed “Azami Yüklü Ağırlık”, maximum laden weight. The side drawings on the two 18-metre sheets show an articulated body on three axles, dimensioned from rear to front at 3,480, 6,170, 5,850 and 2,700 mm; the drawing on the Citiport 12 CNG sheet shows two axles. The model pages give the lengths as “18m” and “12m”. No document opened gives a kerb weight, axle ratings, a turning circle or a wheel formula.

Engines

The model pages of these three versions name the engine “Cummins 8.9L”. The Citiport 18 page gives 269 kW (360 HP) at 2,100 rpm and 1,584 Nm at 1,300 rpm, and the Citiport 12 CNG page 235 kW (315HP) at 2,000 rpm and 1,357 Nm at 1,300–1,400 rpm. The Citiport 18 CNG page gives 269 kW (360 HP) at 2,100 rpm and 1,584 Nm at 1,300 rpm, the figures the Citiport 18 sheet gives for the diesel engine, where the Citiport 18 CNG sheet gives 235 kW (320 PS) at 2,000 rpm and 1,357 Nm.

The Citiport 12 model page gives a diesel (“Dizel”) with a “Cummins 6.7L” engine of 220 kW (295HP) at 2,000 rpm and 1,182 Nm at 1,150–1,400 rpm, an automatic gearbox and up to 107 passengers; it gives no dimensions or weights beyond the 12-metre length.

All three data sheets give the emission class as “Euro VI OBD-E”; the Euro VI stages are set out in Euro 6 and Euro 7.

Gearbox and auxiliary brake

Each of the three data sheets gives a ZF automatic gearbox with six forward gears and one reverse: the ZF 6AP1700B on the Citiport 18, the “ZF ECOLIFE 6AP1400EMF” on the Citiport 18 CNG and the “ZF 6 AP 1400EMF” on the Citiport 12 CNG.

For the auxiliary brake (“Yardımcı Fren”) the Citiport 18 sheet gives an Intarder, the Citiport 18 CNG sheet “Turbo Fren ve Retarder” (turbo brake and retarder) and the Citiport 12 CNG sheet “Retarder”; the Citiport 12 CNG sheet’s parking-brake row also reads “Turbo Fren ve Retarder”. Suspension, brakes and tyres

All three data sheets give air suspension with two air bellows at the front and four at the rear. The two 18-metre sheets add two hydraulic dampers at the front and four at the rear. The Citiport 12 CNG sheet gives “Elektronik kontrollü (ECAS)”, electronically controlled, for the rear suspension and for a row headed “Bağımsız Süspansiyon” (independent suspension) that follows the front entry. Each sheet lists a “Sasi Yana Egilme Sistemi (ECAS)”, a chassis side-tilt system, as standard. The brakes are discs on every axle: “Disk / Disk” on the Citiport 12 CNG and “Disk / Disk / Disk” on the two 18-metre sheets. The Citiport 12 CNG sheet describes a full-air brake system with EBS (“EBS’li tam havalı fren sistemi”); the Citiport 18 sheet a full-air, self-adjusting, dual-circuit system with EBS; the Citiport 18 CNG sheet the same with ABS and ASR named as well. On both 18-metre sheets the parking brake is air-actuated and acts on the discs of the middle and rear axles. The tyre size on all three sheets is 275/70 R22.5.

Fuel, gas and electrical system

The Citiport 18 sheet gives a 300-litre fuel tank and a 43-litre AdBlue tank; what the reagent does is in SCR and AdBlue.

The Citiport 12 CNG sheet gives its gas store as “CNG (NGV1&NGV2) 5 x 320 lt (1600 lt) - Type 3” as standard, five 320-litre Type 3 cylinders, and 1,400 litres of Worthington Type 4 cylinders as an option. The Citiport 18 CNG sheet gives “1600 lt (320*5) NGV2 ile uyumlu”: five 320-litre cylinders, 1,600 litres, compatible with NGV2.

All three sheets give a 24 V system. The batteries are “24V - 2 x 240 Ah” on the two CNG sheets and “24V (2x12V) 240 Ah” on the Citiport 18 sheet.

Passenger capacity, doors and access

The model pages give the same maxima: up to 155, 145 and 92 passengers, and up to 107 for the Citiport 12 diesel.

The Citiport 12 CNG sheet gives three service doors, the front and rear doors double-leaf, air-actuated and inward-opening, with remote control as standard. The Citiport 18 sheet gives four service doors, “Tüm Kapılar, İki Kanat, İçe Açılır”: all doors double-leaf and inward-opening. The Citiport 18 CNG sheet gives four service doors and remote control as standard, with no door type. A ramp for disabled passengers (“Engelli Rampası”) is standard on all three sheets. Safety and driver-assistance systems

All three data sheets list as standard: a speed limiter, a tachograph, EBD, a parking sensor, an engine-compartment detection and automatic fire-extinguishing system, a spare wheel, a tyre inflation kit, a roof emergency exit and ventilation hatch, fog lamps (front and rear on the 18-metre sheets), daytime running lamps, ABS, ASR, EBS, a lane departure warning system (LDWS), tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS), driver drowsiness and attention warning (DDAW), an emergency braking system, a blind spot information system (BSIS), a moving off information system (MOIS), a cyber security system, intelligent speed assistance (ISA) and an alcohol-meter preparation (“Alkolmetre Hazırlığı”, “Alkolmetre (Hazırlık)”). ESC/ESP is standard on the two 18-metre sheets and an option (“Opt”) on the Citiport 12 CNG sheet; a “Reverse Motion” row, standard, appears on the two 18-metre sheets only. Driver’s area, climate and equipment

All three sheets give an air-actuated, adjustable driver’s seat and list as standard a windscreen sun visor (electrically controlled on the Citiport 18), electrically controlled and heated mirrors, a cabinet above the driver, digital air conditioning, a dashboard air conditioner for the driver, ceiling lighting, a camera system, a reversing camera, an amplifier, a digital clock, an LCD screen and a tow bar (“Çeki Demiri”); metallic paint is an option. A pre-heater is standard on the Citiport 18, an option on the Citiport 18 CNG and not listed on the Citiport 12 CNG; a first-aid kit is standard on the Citiport 18 and an option on the Citiport 12 CNG. USB charging sockets for passengers and in the driver’s area appear on the Citiport 18 sheet only, and a microphone on the two 18-metre sheets. The sound system is listed as radio, MP3, CD, DVD and USB on the Citiport 12 CNG, radio, USB, DVD player, CD player and MP3 on the Citiport 18 CNG, and USB, SD card, CD player and Bluetooth on the Citiport 18.

The passenger windows are single-glazed (“Tek Cam”) on all three. The windscreen is one-piece (“Yekpare”) on the Citiport 12 CNG and one-piece laminated on the 18-metre buses. The driver’s side window is electrically operated and heated on the Citiport 12 CNG, sliding and heated on the Citiport 18 CNG, and double-layer, sliding and heated on the Citiport 18; the front door glass is single on the Citiport 12 CNG and double on both 18-metre buses.
