The F-LINE is Ford Trucks’ series of road trucks, construction trucks and tractors with Ecotorq engines, sold beside the F-MAX tractor and the all-electric F-LINE E. Ford Trucks unveiled the series at a launch event in Antalya, Türkiye; Ford Otosan’s press kit of 15 November 2023 says that “As of February 2024, the F-LINE series will be available for purchase in both Türkiye and foreign markets”, and Ford Otosan’s history page lists the launch of the F-LINE series under 2024. The same month Ford Trucks showed the series at Solutrans, with a press kit naming 4x2, 6x2 and 8x2 road trucks, 4x2 and 6x4 tractors and 6x4 and 8x4 construction trucks. Ford Otosan’s vehicle-production page says its Eskişehir plant builds Ford Trucks’ tractors, construction trucks and road trucks, and the F-LINE Construction series was on Ford Trucks’ stand at IAA Transportation 2026.
This page follows Ford Trucks’ English “Technical Features” sheets dated July 2026, one for each series — the 4x2, 6x2 and 8x2–6x4 road series, the tipper, light weight construction, mixer and pump series and the tractor series — in PDF files created between 25 June and 2 July 2026. Ford’s Turkish “Teknik Özellikler” sheets of the same month (PDFs of 29 June 2026) are used beside them, with the Turkish tipper sheet of August 2025, the English F-LINE catalogue Ford links from its series pages (file name 2026-07, PDF of 11 June 2026) and the user manual linked beside it.

The Turkish road, tipper, tractor, mixer and pump sheets of July 2026 list the same models as their English counterparts and add a double cab (“Çift Kabin”) for the 1833 road truck and for the 1833D and 3545D tippers, and a 3233SD: an 8x2 tipper with a low roof sleeper cab, the 9-litre engine, a 4.89 final drive and 32,000 kg technically permissible, which the English tipper sheet does not list. The Turkish tipper sheet of August 2025 also carried a 4145XD, an 8x4 on 13 R 22.5 tyres at 41,900 kg technically permissible, and a 3545D with a low roof sleeper cab; neither is on the July 2026 sheets. The English tipper sheet notes that its 4,750 mm wheelbase option turns the 1833D into the 1833P (“For 1833D it transforms to 1833P”). Ford’s Turkish site also lists “Midilli” versions of the 1833 LR, 2533 LR and 2633 LR and ADR versions of the 3233S HR and 3245S HR, which no data sheet opened lists separately.
Cabs
The sheets name four cabs: the Day Cab, the Low Roof Sleeper Cab, the High Roof Sleeper Cab and, on the 1845T tractor only, the Extra High Roof Sleeper Cab; the Turkish sheets add the double cab. The overall cab length they give runs from 1,744 mm (2533 Day Cab) to 1,827 mm (4145D and 4445XD Day Cab) for the day cab and from 2,215 mm (2533 sleeper cabs) to 2,459 mm (2533D Low Roof Sleeper Cab) for the sleepers; the 3551T’s High Roof Sleeper Cab is 2,310 mm long and the Turkish double cab 2,693 mm. On the 1845T the Extra High Roof Sleeper Cab takes the vehicle to 3,943 mm high, against 3,023 mm with the Low Roof Sleeper Cab.
Ford Otosan’s launch press kit says the cab and exterior design of the F-LINE series were “inspired by the F-MAX”, and lists a 9-inch multimedia display, renewed seat materials, a new steering wheel and control buttons, and a renewed grille, bumper, headlights, fenders, door and mirror trims. Every July 2026 sheet marks the 9-inch touchscreen multimedia system (DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB type A and C, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, remote control), a 12-inch “Ghost Cluster”, a driver-facing camera, air conditioning and improved sound and heat insulation as standard. Sleeper cabs carry a single bed as standard; a double bed is an option in the high roof cabs of the 6x2 and 8x2 road trucks (with an upper storage area), the 1845T’s Extra High Roof cab and the 3551T’s High Roof cab. A dry-type cab heater is standard in the road series’ sleeper cabs, and a dual passenger seat is an option in the day cabs. The tipper, mixer and pump sheets list a 4-point independent cab suspension as standard, the light weight construction sheet an air cab suspension, and the tractor sheet offers a cab with air suspension as an option on the 1845T. Hydraulic cab tilting is standard throughout, with electric tilting as an option.

The Turkish tipper, mixer and pump sheets of July 2026 and the Turkish tipper sheet of August 2025 give the Off-Road Mode figure of 2,500 Nm at 1,000–1,200 rpm, where the English sheets give 1,100–1,200 rpm; the catalogue’s construction column gives 2,500 Nm at 1,000–1,200 rpm without naming a mode. The catalogue says the Ecotorq engine “has been specially designed for the F-LINE family”, gives the 9-litre engine 330 PS for the road and construction series and the 12.7-litre engine 450 PS for the road, construction and 4x2 tractor and 510 PS for the 6x4 tractor, and names a twin-flow exhaust gas recirculation system, a fixed-geometry turbocharger and common-rail injection. Its engine table adds an oil capacity of 30 L and 50 L, a coolant capacity of 46 L and 57 L (77 L with a retarder), and an engine PTO of 85 kW, 600 Nm and 1.05 on the 9-litre and 130 kW, 750 Nm and 1.18 on the 12.7-litre engine.
The user manual Ford links from the F-LINE series pages, an English “Ford Trucks User Manual” with a copyright line of September 2021 whose text does not use the name F-LINE, gives both engines six cylinders and the firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4. It names a BorgWarner BV70 variable-geometry turbocharger for the Euro 6 9-litre engine and a Garrett wastegate turbocharger for the 12.7-litre engine, and gives compression ratios of 17.6 ± 0.5:1 and 21 ± 0.5:1; the catalogue gives 17.6:1 and 17:1. Every sheet gives the emission class as Euro 6.
A Ford Otosan press kit of 5 March 2025 presents the GEN2 as a 12.7-litre EU6 engine “Specially designed for the F-MAX and F-LINE models”, replacing the GEN1.5, compatible with HVO fuel and tested “in 8 different countries” for over 25,000 hours and more than 1.5 million kilometres; Ford Trucks says it aims at “up to an 11.3% improvement in fuel consumption through vehicle-level optimizations”. The July 2026 sheets name the 9-litre engine GEN1.5, and mark HVO compatibility as standard on every 12.7-litre model and as not offered (“-”) on the 9-litre models of the 6x2, 8x2 and tipper sheets.
Transmissions and final drives
Behind the 9-litre engine the sheets list three gearboxes with nine forward gears and one reverse: the automated ZF AS 1510 TO (9.48–0.75), the automated Fast Gear 9S AMT F9JZ1508 (9.472–0.733) and the manual Eaton 9S 14409 (9.40–0.75). The manual gearbox is listed for the 1833 Day Cab and not its sleeper, and for every 2533 but only the 2633 Day Cab; for the 3233S the English sheet lists only the two automated boxes in its transmission row and a manual nine-speed in its gear row, while the Turkish sheet lists the Eaton as well. The documents print some of these names differently: the English tipper sheet gives “ZF 9AS 1510 TO”, “F9JZ150B” and a manual “Eaton 9S 13209”, and the catalogue lists “Fast Gear 9S AMT F9JZ150B”, “ZF 9S 14409” and “Eaton 9S 13209” with the same three ratio spans.
The 12.7-litre engine drives through Ford’s own automated Ecotorq 16S 2600 in two versions: the DD, 17.03 to 1.00, on the 2645T, the 3245S and the 1845T, and the OD, 14.107 to 0.823, on the 3545 road truck, every 12.7-litre construction model and the 3551T. The road and construction sheets give 16 forward and 2 reverse gears; the tractor sheet gives the 1845T’s DD box 16 forward and 4 reverse. The catalogue’s engine table lists the 450 PS road engine with an “Ecotorq 16S 2600 OD” at 17.03–1.00 and both tractor engines with the DD, where the tractor sheet gives the 3551T the OD at 14.107–0.823. Every model has a 430 mm single-disc clutch.

The Turkish 6x2 sheet gives the 2633’s sleeper cabs 4.11 where the English sheet gives 4.375.
Axles, suspension and brakes
Front axles are rated at 7.5 t on the 9-litre road and tipper models and on the 2645T and 3245S, with an 8 t axle as an option; at 8 t on the 3545, the 12.7-litre tippers 3545D and 4145D, the light weight construction models, the mixers, the pumps and both tractors on the English sheet; and at 9 t on the 4445XD. The 8x4 models have two front axles. A Construction Capacity Increase Package — a 9-ton front axle, 385/65 R 22.5 front tyres, the electro-hydraulic steering system EHPAS and 22.5X11.75 steel rims — is optional on the 3545, the 3545D, the 3545M, both pumps and the 3551T, and standard on the 4445XD. Rear axles are the XSS-470 rated 11.5 t on the 4x2 and 6x2 road models (an XSS-510 is optional on the 2633), the XSS-510 at 13.5 t on the 8x2 road models, the 1833D, the 2533D and the 1845T, the XPT-330 at 16 t on the 3545, the 12.7-litre tippers, the mixers, the pumps and the 3551T, and the XST-420 at 11 t on the light weight construction models, with the XPT-330 as an option. How these wheel formulas are counted is explained in axle configurations.
Every model has parabolic leaf springs at the front. At the rear the sheets give a multileaf spring (1833, 1833D), a compensating mechanical suspension (2533, 2533D, 3233S, 3245S), a 6-bellow air suspension (2633, 2645T), a medium-duty tandem mechanical suspension (3545D, 4145D), a 4-bellow air suspension (1845T) and a mechanical suspension on the other 6x4 and 8x4 models. Options include a rear air suspension (C4AS) on the 1833, a rear steerable axle on the 2633 and the 2645T, a composite leaf spring rear suspension on the light weight construction models and a 28T rubber suspension on the 4145M. The catalogue adds a liftable rear axle on 6x2 and 8x2 vehicles with an Auto-Drop function that lowers it again when the vehicle stops for loading.
Every sheet gives a dual brake circuit with an air processing unit with integrated oil separator and heater, and an electronic brake system with ABS and ATC as standard. The English sheets give 430 x 45 mm disc brakes front and rear on the road models except the 3545, on the light weight construction models, the mixers and the 1845T, and 410 x 200 mm Z-cam drum brakes on the 3545, the tippers, the pumps and the 3551T. The Turkish tipper and pump sheets of July 2026 give the drums as Ø410 mm x 218 mm, and the Turkish tipper sheet of August 2025 prints “430 x 45 - Kampana Fren” (drum brake) in the same row. The engine brake is rated at max. 220 kW on the 9-litre and max. 320 kW on the 12.7-litre engine, both at engine level; the technical tables of the 12.7-litre models other than the pumps add a hydraulic retarder at max. 450 kW and 160 kW continuous, which the equipment tables mark as an option, and the English mixer sheet as “-” on the 3545M. EHPAS steering is standard on the 8x4 construction models, optional on the 3545, 3545D, 3545M, 3545P and 3551T, and not offered on the 3545D L.
Chassis, dimensions and weights
The chassis is a high-strength U profile: 7 mm thick on the road models and the 9-litre tippers (S355 MC on the tipper sheet), 8 mm in S500 MC on the light weight construction models and 10 mm in S500 MC on the 12.7-litre tippers, the mixers, the pumps and the tractors. The Turkish 8x2–6x4 sheet gives the 3545 road truck 10 mm where the English sheet gives 7 mm. Every model is 2,540 mm wide without mirrors.

A dash means the sheet gives no turning radius for that model. The kerb weights include, by the sheets’ footnote, “a 90% full fuel tank, other fluids, tools, a spare tire, and a driver weighing 75 kg”, and “Weight values may vary depending on the vehicle configuration.” Ford prints two totals for each model, a technically permissible and a regulatory permissible weight; on the 4445XD they are 44,000 kg and 32,000 kg, on the 3545D 34,000 kg and 26,000 kg. The catalogue describes the construction series as offering “Up to 44-tons total vehicle capacity”. The Turkish double-cab 1833 has a 4,350 mm wheelbase, is 8,050 mm long and 3,148 mm high and has a kerb weight of 7,384 kg.
The English and Turkish sheets of July 2026 differ on several of these rows. The Turkish 4x2 sheet gives the 1833 Day Cab as 7,984 mm long with a 2,196 mm rear overhang and 3,080 mm high, against 7,990, 2,300 and 3,123 mm. The Turkish tractor sheet gives the 1845T a 7.5 t front axle, 7,500 kg technically permissible on that axle and a kerb weight of 8,130 kg, against 8 t, 8,000 kg and 8,009 kg on the English sheet. The Turkish 6x2 sheet gives the 2633 Day Cab 7,855 kg and the 2645T 8,892 kg (Low Roof) and 8,951 kg (High Roof), against 7,818, 8,840 and 8,899 kg in English.
Tractors: fifth wheel
The tractor sheet’s “Brand / Model / Height” row gives the 1845T a SAF Holland SK-S 36.20 fifth wheel with the figures 185 mm and 1,200 mm, and the 3551T a JOST JSK38MC with 190 mm and 1,400 mm; the Turkish sheet gives the 3551T 1,350 mm in place of 1,400 mm. The mounting plate is 40 mm on the English sheet, 8 mm (1845T) and 16 mm (3551T) on the Turkish. The English sheet’s table ties fifth-wheel height to final drive and rear tyre: on the 1845T, 980 mm with 2.31 and 2.47 on 295/60 R22.5, 1,100 mm with 2.47 and 2.64 on 315/70 R22.5, and 1,150 to 1,250 mm with 2.64 on 295/80, 315/70 or 315/80 R22.5 tyres; on the 3551T, 1,350, 1,400 and 1,450 mm, all with 4.87 on 315/80 R22.5. The catalogue gives 980 to 1,250 mm for the 4x2 tractors and 1,350 to 1,450 mm for the 6x4 tractors. A grease-free fifth wheel at 1,100 mm and 1,200 mm and a 19T GVM are options on the 1845T.

Safety and driver-assistance systems
Every English July 2026 sheet marks as standard on every model a lane keeping alert (LDWS), an electronic stability program (ESP), a driver alert system, a moving-off information system (MOIS), a rear-view camera, a blind spot information system (BLIS), alcohol interlock facilitation, traffic sign recognition, an emergency stop signal, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), the EBS with ABS and ATC and a differential lock. Pre-Collision Assist is standard on the 9-litre models, the 2645T, the 3245S and the 1845T, an option on the light weight construction models, and not offered on the 3545, the 12.7-litre tippers and the 3551T; the mixer and pump sheets do not list it. Auto high-beam headlamps and pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection are options where Pre-Collision Assist is offered. Intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop & go (iACC) and adaptive cruise control are options on the 2645T, the 3245S and the 1845T, and predictive cruise control is standard on the 1845T. What European law requires a new truck to carry is set out in mandatory driver-assistance systems.
Equipment
Standard on every sheet: heated and electrically controlled mirrors, halogen headlamps (LED headlamps optional), a rain sensor with automatic lamps, an EFB (240 Ah) battery (AGM optional), a smart tachograph, a front spare tyre and rim, remote engine start-stop and remote transmission PTO start-stop functions, and two multi-function remote-control keys. Navigation, a cold pack and electrically operated cab tilting are options throughout. The sheets list an engine PTO, a twin PTO with low and high ratio, and the NH4B and NH4C offset PTOs, as options or, on some construction models and the 3551T, as standard. An ADR package for FL, EX/II and AT classifications is optional on most models; the catalogue says the road-series vehicles “are designed in accordance with ADR regulations for the transportation of hazardous materials”. Full-trailer packs are listed as O3 (“up to 10T towing capability”) and O4 (“more than 10T towing capability”); the O4 pack with a 50 mm coupling pin is standard on the 2645T. Other items on some sheets include residual-collection and crane packs, a snow-plough short bumper, an oil pan shield, reinforced wheel rims, Alcoa aluminium rims and beacon lamps; the 1845T adds a side skirt option, Eco+ Mode as standard and, with the Extra High Roof cab, an electric sunroof, an exterior sun visor and a spoiler and side extender as standard. The tipper and mixer series are covered in tipper trucks and truck mixers and concrete pumps.
History
Ford Otosan’s history dates the Cargo to 1982, when Ford introduced it to the market; Otosan began building it at its İstanbul factory a year later, and from September 1984 all Cargo production took place at the İnönü plant in Eskişehir. The same history records the 20,000th Cargo in 1991, the year the Cargo 2520 with a 185 PS engine was offered to the market. Ford Trucks’ own history page starts the Cargo series “with Dovertech engines” in 1985, gives the Cargo 1812 the years from 1985 to 1998 and the Cargo 98MY the years from 1998 to 2003, and dates the H298 series Cargo and the 7.3-litre Ecotorq engine at 260, 320, 360 and 380 PS to 2003; it then adds the H476 series with the 9.0-litre Ecotorq engine, which its Turkish version dates to 2007 and describes as tractors and road trucks. Under 2010 it records that the new Construction Series was introduced in phases and that production of the Ecotorq Euro 5 engine began (the Turkish page calls the series “Cargo Yeni İnşaat Serisi”), and under 2012 the 1846T tractor at 460 PS and 2,100 Nm, which Ford Otosan’s history calls the Ford Cargo 1846T. In 2013, Ford Otosan writes, “the distribution of Ford Cargos in 59 countries was gathered under the name of Ford Trucks”; the new-generation 9-litre and 13-litre Ecotorq engines followed in 2016.
Ford’s earlier sheets headed September 2024, an “F-LINE Tractor Series” sheet and a “6x2 Road Series” sheet, both linked from its page of technical brochures for GEN1.5 vehicles, list the 12,740 cm³ engine as GEN1.5: 420 PS (309 kW) and 2,150 Nm in a 2642T 6x2, 450 PS (330 kW) and 2,300 Nm in the 1845T, and 480 PS (353 kW) and 2,500 Nm in a 3548T 6x4 tractor with a manual ZF 16S 2530 gearbox (13.805–0.836) and a 2 x 400 mm twin clutch.
